Moroccan-born Sofia Pernas moved to California at the age of 5 old. She grew up in Orange County. She received her big break acting when she graduated from University of California San Diego in the year 2015. Pernas was a popular actress who made tiny appearances in NCIS as well as Leverage prior to her debut in the part of Marisa on The Young and the Restless she was a well-known name on the soap. Following her departure from soap operas her actress was offered the role of Catalina on Jane the Virgin. The model speaks four different languages. Her character Lexi Vaziri was on Blood & Treasure between the year 2019 and 2020. Us Weekly announced in May 20 that Pernas had a relationship with Justin Hartley who was her character for The Young and the Restless.
