Ashley Madekwe and Ashley Leggat

Madekwe is the daughter of an ethnically diverse family in South London in England. Madekwe is English but her father is Nigerian. She grew in the South London community estate, and when she was 14, attended The Brit School. She attended the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London which she graduated with an acting BA. While attending the school was when she performed in various stage productions, such as King Henry V as Princess Katherine and Wuthering Heights as Catherine Earnshaw.
Madekwe got her start in acting through a short film called Storm Damage. She has appeared as guest for Teachers Doctors Casualty Drop Dead Gorgeous. Her first role in a film was Woody Allen's 2007 Cassandra's Dream opposite Colin Farrell, Ewan McGregor. In the following film, she appeared in Elisha, an episode of the BBC Three pilot drama, in West 10 LDN. In her role, she also played Ollie in six episodes each in the series Trexx, Flipside, and Flipside. In 2008, Madekwe landed Bambi who was the leading character in ITV2's show Secret Diary of a Call Girl. Madekwe starred as the lead character on How to Lose Friends And Alienate Others, a comedy released in 2008. Some of her theatre credits are Little Sweet Thing (by Roy Williams) and Flight Path (by David Watson).
Madekwe officially made her US debut in the series The Beautiful Life in 2009. The show ran just two episodes on The CW, and was eventually cancelled. In February of 2011 she was cast as Ashley Davenport in the ABC drama series Revenge. Madekwe was a regular in the ABC drama series Revenge during two seasons. The show was announced in May 2013 that she was set to leave the series after making a guest episode in the very first season of the third. On the show Salem, she played Tituba from 2014 until the year 2016. Then, in June of 2012 the actress was married to her long-time love, actor Iddo Goldberg. They've collaborated on Secret Diary of a Call Girl as well as he is also a part of the cast on the TV show Salem.

Ashley Leggat is a Gemini-nominated actress who was raised in an extended family. Her parents were Roy and Patty Leggat. Her parents Roy and Patty, as well as the four brothers of her, Brett, Todd, and Bram who were also present. Ashley's brothers, who are all athletic, played in the summer months and play hockey during winter. Ashley did not have the ability to walk. She danced. When she reached 2 and a 1/2 and a half, she joined Baby Ballet. Ashley became a dancer immediately. Ashley was a top competitor in divisions for jazz, tap ballet, hip hop, Acrobatics, Lyrical Musical Theatre and pointe until she graduated from high school. In addition, she won best soloist awards at all important dance competitions such as International Dance Challenge, Showstoppers 56-7-8 Showtime, Flash Dance, Dance, Dance, Dance, among others.
